I am right at 130k miles and had the clutch replaced at 85k miles. From what I could tell by looking quickly in the dark, the fluid level in the clutch cylinder looked sufficient. I also have a short throw shifter, but again, getting into the other gears is fine. I can push the clutch almost all the way to the floor, if not all the way to the floor. I can shift into any of the other gears, besides reverse, without any issue. No grinding, no slipping. If I step on the clutch, and then let off, I can feel it engage. The trouble is getting into gear from neutral into either first or reverse. I can actually go to 2nd from neutral if I am stuck at a light. I appreciate your help! This started after the car sat for some time over the winter. It is particually hard to get into first or reverse every third or fourth time driving the car. Not every time, but frequent enough.
